Tap dancing is considered to be the most American of all dance forms.
It is important to the dance student for it develops rhythm, timing and phrasing and
gives rhythmical co-ordination of mind and body. In Tap II students advance their vocabulary to include single, double, and triple time steps, riffs, pull backs, and upper body style. In Tap III students will explore advanced techniques and different tap styles from Broadway Tap, to low into the ground Hoofing style, to the more contemporary strong modern styles of Rhythm Tap. In Tap N Tone technique takes a backseat to aerobics! We learn a few easy to get steps, put on the music, and get some exercise while having fun! Tap |
